Breakfast in the morning was easy access too. Also easy access to ice machine and coffee bar that was 24 hr. Easy access through a back door to bring in our luggage. We were on the first floor about midway down the hall. We saw their room at the casino which was very nice but my friends and I all felt that the room we had at the Holiday Inn was much nicer, roomier, and very convenient - and much cheaper. The location is excellent - easy 5 minute drive to the casino, several restaurants nearby, and Walmart in case you need them! Our friends stayed at the casino which was a lot more expensive. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. After reading a number of reviews I chose this location for a 2 nite stay. We drove up from TX to see friends who were performing at Gilley's at the Casino in Durant.

Maybe to catch some of the musical groups coming to the resort. Regardless my wife and I had an excellent time at the hotel, buffet and casino. I guess they need to recover their money some way - LOL. The slots were not too kind to us during this visit. See my review of the buffet but it was very much improved from our last visit and the price - assuming you use the players card - is very reasonable, actually a very good deal. We typically stay in Hilton properties 50 - 60 days out of the year and Las Vegas properties another 10 - 20 nights per year but Choctaw certainly matches our typical hotel and most of the Las Vegas type casino hotels. Easy check-in, valet parking first impressions were wonderful. What a great room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom/shower, very good wifi, clean and well maintained - what more can we ask. I probably would not have considered coming here but.
